Design + Wanderlust & Art Direction.
Chapter I:
Constant Wanderlust
WANDERLUST
I always knew my path was not going to be one that followed the rules. It was obvious that I wouldn't be able to study art and design in just one place in the world… After all, there are so many things to learn, and many of them can only be learnt by experiencing different cultures.
Moving from place to place has been the best school.

To belong nowhere is a blessing and a curse, like any kind of freedom. - Leah Stewart
Places
I was born in Mazatlan, Mexico. A coastal city in the Northwest of the country. My art & design studies began in Bamberg, Germany where I started to study art (Kunst) at FLG Gymnasium. After some time my family moved to Canada, where I attended Concordia University in Montreal for a BFA, majoring in design with minor in computation arts. After two years of living in Canada, I moved to Paris, where I did freelance work as a web designer and a photographer. Somehow I ended up at the place I want to call my home: Barcelona, where I attended ESDI (Escola Superior de Disenny) for one year before I moved to Sweden, to attend Hyper Island, in Karlskrona, where I was a Digital Media student.
I've done internships in Montreal, Paris and Mexico City.. This is what I love to do

Inumbra
Inumbra is a Hyper Island project that my team did for the anual Hyper Island Exhibition. Inumbra is an interactive game controlled with XBOX Kinect and based on flash. You step into a dark and childhood nightmare-like world. Your mission is to walk through different levels and solve the puzzles. By passing the different levels, you will hopefully be able to bring back your inner child.

Mobile
HERO: The first video was made for a project with Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Hyper Island to make a common database with great ideas to achieve 72 hours for peace. The concept and video were done in less than 72 hours too. I was involved in the concept development, illustrations and some motion graphics.
Euphonic: The second video was done all by myself, it was my application for Hyper Island back in 2011, It's a mobile app that would help independent musicians to share and market their music. (Music by Madeleine Bloom)
